OIG Report on CIA Accountability With Respect to the 9/11 Attacks ~E6,~S~~r ~ ^"~a~F~;~ ~"~:: - (U) EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (U) The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence requested that the CIA's Office of Inspector General (OIG) review the findings of their Joint Inquiry (JI) Report and undertake whatever additional investigations were necessary to determine whether any Agency employees were deserving of awards for outstanding service provided before the attacks of September 11, 2001 {9/11), or should be held accountable for failure to perform their responsibilities in a satisfactory manner.
